A Special Diet and Nutrition Program for Women
Our dietitians stay current with the latest developments and scientific publications in nutrition and diet. With this expertise, they guide and educate our patients as accurately as possible.
Balanced and Healthy Nutrition
Collaboration between dietitian, physician, and patient is essential, both in illness and in maintaining health.
A daily routine built around healthy choices — small changes to diet and activity, subtle variety in flavors, the importance of meal timing, and portion control — should be designed to be realistic and sustainable for each patient.
Situations That Call for Specialized Nutrition and Diet:
Fungal (Yeast) Infections
Throughout a woman's life, "candida" — naturally present in the vagina — is a type of yeast. To prevent it from becoming chronic, physician evaluation and treatment are essential during periods of increased white discharge. Taking antifungal medication alone may not be enough for women in this situation. In these cases, following a dietitian's plan, alongside physician support, is necessary.
Proper Nutrition During Pregnancy
From conception through the 12th week of pregnancy, a woman undergoes major hormonal changes, which can increase feelings of nausea, sensitivity to smells, vomiting, and digestive issues — all common pregnancy complaints during this period.
After week 12, hormones become more stable, and these types of complaints tend to decrease and resolve.
During the first 12 weeks of pregnancy — the embryonic period — the most important factor affecting growth and development is having a healthy chromosomal structure. Therefore, during the embryonic period, the mother's diet does not affect the baby's development.
After the 12th week of pregnancy, as hormones become more stable, the mother will feel more comfortable both physically and psychologically. From week 12 until delivery, nutrition becomes very important for both mother and baby, requiring — unlike the first trimester — much greater attention and knowledge.
We're always ready to help with balanced, healthy nutrition and diet planning.
