Labia Minora Aesthetics (Labiaplasty)

This is the most commonly performed procedure among labiaplasty surgeries.

It is performed to correct the appearance of the labia minora (inner lips) and the problems they can cause.

The main problems caused by the inner labia include: irritation and pain caused by the labia folding inward with the penis during intercourse, difficulty maintaining hygiene between the folds of the inner labia, recurring fungal discharge caused by the folds, and — much like the labia majora — an uncomfortable appearance when wearing swimwear or bikinis. These are the main concerns we commonly hear about.

There are many different techniques used in labiaplasty surgery.

Your physician needs to determine which method to use for your labia minora procedure.

The same procedure cannot be applied to every woman or every labia type.

If the tissue structure is very lax after the surgical procedure, hyaluronic acid is injected to help the tissue remain firm during the post-operative healing process.

Radiofrequency is not a surgical procedure. It is a heat-based tightening treatment that can be used for genital area aesthetics, including vaginoplasty and labiaplasty.

Non-surgical laser and radiofrequency techniques fail to satisfy about 98% of patients, as they do not achieve sufficient reduction.

In surgical procedures, laser is used for cutting (incision). It provides a smooth incision with almost no bleeding.
