Recurrent Genital Warts
Recurrent genital warts caused by the HPV virus have unfortunately become a nightmare for many women.
We consistently see how much this issue affects patients psychologically, often leaving them feeling hopeless.
First, it's important to note that not every condyloma structure can be treated with the same approach for genital warts. HPV-related condylomas can be quite aggressive and stubborn.
Applying the same type of procedure to every patient increases the recurrence rate after treatment.
For example: if a wart (condyloma) is not going to be surgically removed, it should never be treated with cauterization (burning). Attempting to eliminate a very large wart with repeated laser pulses can actually cause it to spread further. Similarly, applying cryotherapy (wart freezing) to large warts is also likely to fail.
For this reason, every case of HPV condyloma should be evaluated individually, and the appropriate method should always be carefully selected.
Treating HPV condyloma acuminatum is important, but it is equally important to develop a plan afterward to strengthen the immune system, with careful patient follow-up.
For patients struggling with recurrent genital warts, every available supportive technique and treatment to maximize immune system strength should be used.
At our center, we use ozone therapy specifically for recurrent warts. The results have been quite successful, providing real relief for patients who no longer experience new wart formation.
