Permanent Procedures:
Permanent hymen repair is intended for women whose future marriage or sexual activity timing is not yet known. There are several methods for permanent hymen repair, including the flap technique, incisional approximation, and natural septum approximation. All of these procedures resemble microsurgical techniques.
Permanent hymenoplasty is generally intended for women who do not know exactly when they will next be sexually active and who are not comfortable with that uncertainty.
Among these, the flap technique and parallel wall approximation are the most commonly used methods.

Is hymenoplasty a dangerous procedure?
Hymenoplasty carries no risk under local anesthesia — it is very straightforward for the patient, though delicate and demanding for the physician.
The local anesthetic medications used during hymenoplasty rarely cause allergic reactions.
Since the procedure involves no incisions — only cleaning the area with an antiseptic solution — there is no remaining infection risk.
Fully sterile instruments must be used for hymenoplasty. Under these conditions, the procedure carries no danger whatsoever.
