If you are married, your spouse must accompany you to the procedure, as their signature is required on the necessary consent form.

Both you and your spouse must bring identification to the appointment.

If you are unmarried, spousal consent is not required. A religious (imam) marriage or similar arrangement has no bearing on the legal process — partner/spousal consent is not required in these cases.
